This past weekend, we held our 2023 CTA fall promotions. When I reflect on our Academy's first promotion, we barely had twenty people. This past weekend, we had over one hundred and fifty in attendance! I want to thank everyone who came out last weekend as well as anyone who has supported our Academy over the years; none of this would be possible without you.
I want to thank Vitor and Gabriel for assisting with the testing, as it is a lot of work and makes for very long days. At CTA, we test each student individually on our curriculum and grade them based on how well they did (as well as other factors). This process produces the students that make the Academy so special, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
For those who were promoted, congrats! Keep training, and always remember to have fun. For those who did not get promoted this time, keep training, always remember to have fun, and know your time will come. All black belts were once white, blue, purple, and brown belts who never quit despite setbacks, injuries, and disappointments. To this day I've never met a blackbelt who regretted training!
