2012 isn’t over yet but so far it’s been a very good year. I won the Pan American Games for the second year in a row, at the Mundials I lost a referee’s decision to Bruno Malfacine but learned a lot and grew as a person. At the Vegas open I closed out my division with my team mate Samir Chantre, than I had the pleasure of watching him win the absolute. This was the third year in a row our team has won and that is a testament to our training, our team, and our technique.
Of all of these things the most exciting has been the start of my association. The Caio Terra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (CTBJJA) became official this past June and since that time we have grown steadily. We were blessed and overwhelmed with the number of applicants and after careful screening we added new affiliates in California, Oregon, Missouri and our newest affiliate in England! Things can only get better from here!!
