[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”4865″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]This past weekend was Caio Terra Academy, San Jose, Summer promotions! Although every promotion is important, for two individuals this week was extra special.
For Josh, after 5 years at the academy and over 10 years on the mat, he was awarded the rank of Black Belt. Josh is the 7th black belt promoted at the HQ and this promotion was very well deserved. He has been very consistent, spending countless hours on the mat and countless hours at home studying. This is evident in his knowledge of the curriculum and his continual evolution in Jiu Jitsu. Off the mat his willingness to give back to the academy and the community have been outstanding.
The second black belt, went to Jeremy Jackson, who becomes CTA HQ’s 8th black belt awarded by Professor Caio Terra. Jeremy joined CTA looking to evolve his game and his knowledge of Jiu Jitsu. What he found was a family. Jeremy makes everyone he’s around better, his personality, infectious work ethic and desire to improve are unmatched. As he takes the next step in his journey the world will be watching and CTA will always be behind him!
Congrats to everyone who got promoted, and remember to always train to have fun. In the end, the belts, the trophies, the medals aren’t what we remember but the people who we share these experiences with. They make them special.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
