"It's not how good you are at Jiu Jitsu, it's how good Jiu Jitsu is for you" -Professor Caio Terra
As we continue through the curriculum, it is important to reflect on why we train. Jiu Jitsu provides benefits including exercise, friendships, and confidence just to name a few.
One of the most important benefits is the ability to practice dealing with stressful situations in a safe environment. Many of us will never have to use our Jiu Jitsu in self-defense, yet all of us will encounter stressful situations in our everyday lives and must choose how we react. Our time training should help us find solutions under pressure - that is Jiu Jitsu at work!
