In the first match of the evening, Tyler Inouye (originally from the Mad Tiger Academy), was able to secure a submission to start the night off right. Not to be out done Tyler Shew and Yeppie went out and put on amazing performances both submitting their opponents after some very exciting transitions.
Next up were the black belts, after a hard fought match Benji Silva was victorious taking a close split decision victory over Dom Hoskins. This is Benji’s second match at black belt and he’s off to an amazing start with two wins!
Making his black belt debut last weekend was instructor Kaniela Kahuanui! Kaniela has dreamed of this moment since he was a blue belt and this was one of the most anticipated matches of the evening. All the years of hard work and sacrifice paid off and Kaniela was able to secure the submission. Congrats Kani, and can’t wait to see whats next.
In the main event, Rudson was matched up with former Fight to Win champion Gutemberg Perreira. After a short exchange Rudson was able to secure his signature arm bar for he win!
Congrats to everyone who competed, everyone who helped the team get ready and most importantly everyone who came out to support. CTA wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for you guys and we can’t thank everyone enough! Next up ADCC![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
