The popular Bay Area Jiu Jitsu tournament dubbed “Jiu Jitsu By The Bay” held by Sergio Silva was a large success this past weekend. The event has grown larger and stronger every year. This time San Jose’s IMA-Gracie Fighter had more than just competitors competing. San Jose IMA-Gracie Fighter had one of there world class instructors Augusto “Queixinho” refereeing the event. His credentials speak for itself, IBJJF certified referee.
A total of eleven Jiu Jitsu fighters entered the event from San Jose’s IMA-Gracie Fighter Jiu Jitsu. Competitors who enter the competition received commemorative shirts and kids receive medals – win, lose or draw. San Jose’s IMA-Gracie Fighter Jiu Jitsu competitors all brought something home from the tournament. Nine medals, commemorative shirts and a great experience.
