The Institute of Martial Arts is pleased to announce that Milton Bastos will be the head instructor of the Children’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Program. Milton has been teaching the kids BJJ classes and assisting with kids MMA for a few months while Flavio was focusing on Krav. Now that Flavio’s has accepted the role of head Krav Maga instructor (he still assists with the kid program) we decided to make Milton’s position official! We are very lucky to have Milton on board as he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Milton is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. After studying Physical Education at UNIP (Universidade Paulista) he decided to move to America to pursue his dream of being a world champion (which came true in 2009) and we are glad he did! We look forward to big things from our youth program and are excited about the future. Welcome MILTON BASTOS!!
