As 2015 starts I am more excited than ever! Major changes happened in 2014, after 3 years as the Institute of Martial arts, we are now officially the Caio Terra Academy. To make our programs more cohesive to my original vision we no longer offer Krav, Muay Thai and MMA. Instead we expanded our Jiu Jitsu program to include more classes than ever before and added Vitor Paschoal and world champion Yuri Simoes to our teaching staff! To compliment our Jiu Jitsu we added Judo with San Jose State coach Sensei Shintaro Nakano. Nakano Sensei has produced many olympians and is himself a US Open Champion!
In addition the facility went through a major redesign and renovation. Hopefully some time in mid February we will be having a “re-grand opening”. I am thankful for all the students who have and continue to make it all possible, 2015 has just started and I can’t wait to see all the great things the year has in store for us!
