Last weekend the team traveled to Irvine California for the 2014 Pan American Games (Pans). Pans is the biggest tournament of the year and this year was no exception.
Although I did not compete I went down to support the team and Jiu Jitsu. It is always great to catch up with old friends and see some amazing Jiu Jitsu. As a team we did very well. At the end of the day Kristina Barlan, Yuri Simoes, Marco Zulauf, Manny Diaz, and Aaron Zaballos were crowned champions. Vitor Paschoal, Samir Chantre, Queixinho, Milton Bastos and Barry Domingo all made the podium! These accomplishments were only made possible by the team. Special thanks to Vincente Junior, Tanner Rice, Kit Dale, Leandro Lo, Luiza Monteiro, Tsuyoshi Tamaki, Brian Stuebner, Flavio Meier and everyone who helped the team get ready at camp.
