To be honest leading up to the event I wasn’t sure if I would compete at all. My focus was on my students, I wanted to make sure they were ready and that I could give them my full attention.
To my team I am so proud of all of you. Remember it’s not about winning or losing, those things are soon forgotten, it’s about improving and being the best we can be. Whether we win or we lose, it doesn’t change who we are and it doesn’t define us. Being a champion where it matters most, off of the mats, in life, is what’s important.
To my family and students back home, can’t wait to see everyone. Euros 2018 is almost done, let’s go CTA!
