PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
INTRODUCTION TO BJJ CLASS: FUNDAMENTALS I CLASS
Intro to BJJ is designed for people with little or no experience in mind. We will be covering the basic principles and concepts of Jiu Jitsu as well as ettiquite and lessons that will make your experience that much more fun. Although the class is not mandatory for new students, it is strongly encouraged for students of all levels.
FUNDAMENTALS I & FUndamentals II CLASSES
These class are designed for beginners with little or no experience. Here, they will learn the concepts, and fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. This class will teach the curriculum in a step by step process focusing on Professors white to blue curriculum. Fundamentals aren't basic, they are important and essential to building a solid foundation. Fundamentals I is based on our intro curriuclum and Fundamentals II is based on our white to blue curriculu,. This is a Traditional Gi class and is an hour-long.
INTERMEDIATE JIU JITSU: 2 STRIPE WHITE BELT AND ABOVE
This class was designed for people making the transition to advanced class. In intermediate they will learn to expand their knowledge of positions, and the application of the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu. This class will help you to learn step by step techniques that are essential to building a solid game and introduce students to live rolling. This is a Traditional Gi class and is an hour-long.
ADVANCED JIU JITSU: WHITE WITH BLUE STRIPE AND ABOVE
This class consists of drilling moves and lots of live rolling (live training). Although it’s designed for people with more experience, we encourage intermediate students to do this class as well as the Fundamentals class. The use of a Gi is mandatory in this class. Usually, this class begins right after a fundamentals class, and students will start class with a lite warm-up, rolling and working techniques towards the end of class. This class is one hour and fifteen minutes.
This “No-Gi” class is designed for advanced students and consists of traditional Jiu Jitsu technics adapted to make up for the lack of a uniform to grab. Students will learn how to take down, hold down and apply joint locks to submit opponents who are not wearing a Gi. The class consists of warm-ups, technics, drilling and rolling (live training). This class is an excellent way to transition your Jiu Jitsu technics into a no gi situations. Students must wear shorts and a CTA rash guard to attend this class.
OPEN MAT (CAIO TERRA ACADEMY MEMBERS)
Open Mat is the time where Students can drill techniques and train in a creative environment. They are free to come and go whenever they feel like it and train at their own pace. CTA Open mat is for current CTA members and CTA Affiliate members only.

PROGRAMS FOR Kids & Teens
KIDS 1: TODDLERS (4-6)
At the Caio Terra Academy, we believe that the training your child will receive with us will last a lifetime. We will help your child achieve their full potential by increasing their self-esteem and confidence while teaching them effective martial arts. Studies show that Kids who enroll in martial arts tend to have better grades, higher self-esteem, learn to develop personal discipline, learn the importance of goal setting, all the while having fun! The class is divided by age and ability to ensure that everyone develops at the appropriate pace!
The toddlers class is focused on having fun first with interactive games and drills that teach these principles! This is a 30 minutes class.
KIDS II (7-9)
The kids II program is designed to teach basic movements and introduces them to submission holds. In addition to learning how to defend themselves your child will have a head start in life because they will be ready to deal with tough situations such as peer pressure and bullying. Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors will teach your child how to use technique over strength and most importantly your child will have FUN AND LOTS OF IT!
Kids II is designed for children 7-9 years of age.
TEEN JIU-JITSU (10+):
This class consists of drilling moves and rolling (live training) while teaching the importance of martial values. It is very similar to our adult fundamental class!
The Teens class is designed to challenge and engage your teen! This class is run similar to our fundamental II program. They will learn the basic moves, positions, and the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu and we strongly reinforce martial values.
