Last Sunday we had an incredible time celebrating the hard work of our students at our first promotion ceremony of 2025!
Professor Caio personally oversees the entire testing process, believing that the time invested allows students to gain valuable feedback on their training. On its own, the belt we wear is a piece of fabric. It is the hard work that you apply over months and years of practice that make promotion so meaningful.
We want to congratulate everyone who took the time to study, test, and show up to the ceremony for their teammates. Without our training partners and friends, we would never be able to grow. Every promotion is the result of consistent effort, not only on the part of those promoted, but of everyone who steps on the mat.
We would like to give a special shout-out to Jerome Auttrey - an amazing martial artist, person, and Professor Caio's newest black belt!
Mason Fowler uprooted his life to train under Professor Caio and join the team in pursuit of his goals. His dedication and work ethic have made him a champion and we are so grateful to have him at the academy as an instructor. Congratulations on your first stripe Mason!
