This past weekend was the 2014 world Jiu Jitsu Expo and long beach fall inventionaal, held at the long beach convention center. From Caio Terra Academy in San Jose, Jayme Terra, Ryan Walsh, Benji Silva, and Kaniela Kahuanui all competed. In their divisions, Kaniela, Ryan and Jayme were crowned champions. In the absolute Ryan and Jayme both took home bronze. Benji had tough matches and took home third in his division!
In the pro division, Osvaldo “Queixinho” Moizinho beat Paulo Miyao in the finals and was crowned the 2014 Pro League Champion. Queixinho has worked extremely hard and is coming off a huge no gi world championship. With the 2014 competition season coming to a close, 2015 looks like it will be an amazing year!!
